BACKGROUND

Peter Armenia was born in Buffalo, NY in 1963 on what was sure to have been a cold day in March. After getting his first camera in 1980 he began taking pictures regularly. Combining his interest in photography with his degree in Computer Science he took a position with The Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY as a Software Engineer. During this time Peter became more serious with his photography. He began selling prints at public art shows and shooting exclusively color transparencies. After almost 6 years working for Kodak Peter left the company in 1995 to pursue photography full-time. Since then he has traveled extensively and has been publishing and exhibiting his work.
